Our Aluminium 40mm door threshold is a premium solution designed for versatility and adaptability, accommodating a range of flooring types and heights. This product comes with small and large clips to accommodate varying flooring heights. With detailed technical drawings, it showcases multiple height options, making it easy to tailor the threshold to your specific requirements. The installation process is straightforward, ensuring a secure and durable setup:
- Ensure the width of the cover is sufficient to bridge the gap between the two floor coverings.
- Attach the Aluminium base securely to the floor using contact adhesive or mechanical fasteners.
- Select the appropriate-sized clips and slide them onto the cover. Position them 2-3cm from either end, evenly spacing the rest along the length of the threshold.
- Align the clips with the base and apply even pressure to lower them into the channel. A rubber mallet can be used to secure the final connection.
This threshold is designed to accommodate a maximum height difference of 24mm between uneven floors. It is equally effective for flooring at the same level, supporting heights from 9mm to 20mm. Its Easy Clip Easy Fit System ensures a smooth and reliable installation process. For added stability, it can be secured to wooden or concrete subfloors using screws.
